The Enemy Within

We've all heard the term "the loyal opposition" implying that when one party is in power the other although it has opposing ideas it is nevertheless loyal to America and the Constitution.  I contend that is nothing but "BS".  For the most part we have one party that defends and is loyal to the Constitution and another that would drastically like to change if not eliminate that document, of course they would never admit to such a thing.  The America left is not the loyal opposition but rather, a disloyal group that would overturn the Constitution if possible and a the very least would change it into something unrecognizable to a majority of Americans.  This country has no room for those who would overturn the Constitution by violent or even peaceful means and I  assert the Left is trying to do just that by any means possible.  When the left in this country supports such dictators as Hugo Chavez and others it is clear where they stand and the system they would like to impose on this nation.  "Loyal Opposition" my ass!  They are counter-revolutionaries who embrace collectivism and scorn individualism and would over-turn the Great American Revolution of our Founders and remove them from the history books so that future generations would never know of their greatness.  And for those who would bestow on these radicals the grand title of "Loyal Opposition" I have little use for their stupidity!

WASHINGTON WILL FEEL THE WRATH OF THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY!

THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY MOVEMENT IS ONLY IN IT'S EARLY STAGES. THE PASSAGE OF OBAMACARE WILL IF ANYTHING INVIGORATE AND REVITALIZE THE MOVEMENT. THOSE IN WASHINGTON WHO SUPPORT BIG GOVERNMENT AND COLLECTIVE MEASURES THAT WOULD RESULT IN LESS CHOICES AND LONGER LINES FOR ALL OF US WILL HAVE TO ANSWER AT THE POLLS THIS FALL. THE BALLOT BOXES WILL BE FULL OF VOTES FROM AN AROUSED NATION THAT WILL BRING ABOUT A MASS EXIT FROM CONGRESS WITH SAD FACES ON THOSE LEAVING THEIR COVETED SEATS.

THE SUN IS RISING ON A NEW DAY AND THE RECENT PASSAGE OF NATIONAL HEALTH CARE WILL BE BUT A DYING GASP OF A DISCREDITED IDEOLOGY WHICH WILL BE RELEGATED TO THE DUST BIN OF HISTORY BY AN ANGRY NATION!

SARAH PALIN IN 2012

It is far to early to choose a candidate for the 2012 election, but at this time it seems clear to this observer that Sarah Palin is far and away the best of those currently in the public eye.  I can think of no issues I disagree with her on.  She has remained true to her principles and not waviered in the face of blistering criticism not only from the left, but from many traditional Republicans on the right.  This alone endears her to me.  I am somewhat of a male chauvinist,  but Sarah has overcome that short coming in my character.  As of this moment she has my support for the 2012 run for president should she decide to take that course.

DUTY AND HONOR DO NOT ALWAYS WALK THE SAME PATH!

"WE MUTUALLY PLEDGE TO EACH OTHER OUR LIVES, OUR FORTUNES, AND OUR SACRED HONOR"!  Those who have read the Declaration of Independence are familiar with this phrase.

A number of years back a state trooper came to an accident scene in one of our western states, can't recall which one, upon arriving he found a man, hopelessly trapped in the wreckage of his car. The trooper tried without success to remove the man. Shortly after this, the car burst into flames and the helpless man in the car cried out as the flames began to burn his flesh. Finally in sheer agony he begged the state trooper to shoot him---the trooper did not!

We each will find some point as that trooper did when we must make a decision, perhaps not such a vital one as the trooper, but one nevertheless that will effect us during our remaining days. The trooper choose not to shoot the burning man, maybe because he opposed mercy killing, maybe because he would be breaking the law---there could be any number of reasons. 

How would you have answered the dying man's plea?  Would you think of mercy, of your job, of the law, or of some higher moral values.  The founders were faced with these questions when they put pen to paper and gave us the Declaration of Independence.

From deep in the heart of the jungle, near the slopes of Kilimanjaro came the cry of the African Yeswecan bird---freemed, freemed, freemed and the well tanned Witch Doctor of the illusive Libocrat tribe picked up the ringing calls of the Yeswecan bird as the great man strolled past the village elders who were awed by his mere presence and majesty. He had an almost god-like quality and a proud gate in his walk. The elders gathered round him waiting for his thunderous, all knowing words. And as he looked into the tiny pool in the village center he begin to speak, occasionally looking up at the mesmerized crowd who had gathered for his great words of wisdom. Then the words flowed from the magic pool to the mouth of the great Witch Doctor. The words were clear, clear as the sparkling pool from which they came. And all ears were in tune to the sounds of the great one as he echoed the crys of the Yeswecan bird---freemed, freemed, freemed. When nearing the end of his flowing words a mighty Polemaetus Bellicosus (the great bird of truth), was seen circling overhead and the crys of the great bird were heard by the elders---whowillpay, whowillpay, whowillpay. The elders fell silent!!
