Cairo in Chaos

MANY ARE WATCHING THE EVENTS IN CAIRO HOPING FOR THE BEST FOR THE EGYPTIAN PEOPLE.  I AM CONCERNED FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS.  I HAVE WATCH THE CROWDS IN THE STREETS AND LISTENED TO THE VARIOUS PUNDITS IN DIFFERENT MEDIA'S.  IT SEEMS TO ME THAT MOST PEOPLE ON THE STREETS ARE STUDENTS, THOSE WHO ARE PROBABLY UNEMPLOYED, AND I SUSPECT SOME CRIMINAL ELEMENTS.  THAT IS ONLY MY OPINION!  IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT MOST EGYPTIANS NO NOT LIKE THE REIGN OF MUBARAK AND WOULD LIKE SOME TYPE OF TRANSITION TO A NEW GOVERNMENT, THAT GOES WITHOUT SAYING.  BUT THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH INSTALLING A NEW ORDER IN EGYPT IS THAT THE EXISTING GOVERNMENT IN CAIRO HAS BEEN FRIENDLY TO THE FOREIGN POLICIES OF THE UNITED STATES IN THAT PART OF THE WORLD AND ANY MOVEMENT AWAY FROM THAT POSITION ON THE PART OF EGYPT COULD LEAD TO EVEN MORE DANGER FOR THE PEOPLE OF EGYPT NOT TO MENTION THE DANGER TO THE FRAGILE PEACE THAT EXIST IN THAT REGION.  I SUPPORT DEMOCRATIC REFORM, BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST I SUPPORT THE SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES AND ITS STRONGEST ALLY IN THAT PART OF THE WORLD, ISRAEL.  I AM NOT WILLING TO ROLL THE DICE FOR THE CHANCE OF GETTING A NEW DEMOCRACY IN THE MIDDLE EAST WHEN HISTORY TELLS US THAT REVOLUTION SUCH AS THAT IN EGYPT SELDOM LEADS TO A DEMOCRACY THAT SUPPORTS OUR BEST INTEREST.

The Chaos in Egypt Continues

IT SEEMS THAT THE OLD ORDER IN EGYPT COULD GIVE WAY TO SOME, AS YET UNDETERMINED FORCE.  WHAT THAT NEW ORDER WILL BE IS ANY ONE'S GUESS.  IT SEEMS TO BE CLEAR THAT THE TENS OF THOUSANDS IN THE STREET REPRESENT THE VOICES OF CHANGE.  IF THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT FALLS, THE UNORGANIZED RIOTERS WILL NOT BE THE ONES TO ESTABLISH A NEW GOVERNMENT.  MY GREATEST FEAR IS THAT THIS SECULAR STATE MAY FALL INTO THE HANDS OF SOME ORGANIZED GROUP SUCH AS THE MUSLIN BROTHERHOOD.  AS THE WORLD WATCHES THE GROWING DISCONTENT ONE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THE ULTIMATE OUTCOME WILL BE A GOVERNMENT THAT CONTINUES TO ALLY WITH THE UNITED STATES AND THE FORCES THAT OPPOSE RADICAL ISLAM. ONE MUST NOTE THAT EGYPT IF ONE OF THE FEW COUNTRIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST THAT RECOGNIZES THE STATE OF ISRAEL.  WE HAVE LITTLE CONTROL ON THE CASCADING EVENTS SWEEPING ACROSS THAT NATION AND IF CONTROL OF THAT STATE FALLS INTO UNFRIENDLY HAND THE RESULT COULD LEAD TO ALL WAR IN THE REGION.  ONE ALSO MUST NOT FORGET THAT IS IS EGYPT THAT CONTROLS THE VITAL SUEZ CANAL.  A WATERWAY THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR MOST COUNTRIES IN THAT PART OF THE WORLD.

and boldly announced his new mandated CAFE standards.
But perhaps the most telling thing about his statement

He said this without his TOTUS!
This is the true Obama.
This man thinks the sun rises and sets on him and his agenda.

Obama took a huge step today to gather more control,
not more control over big banks,
not more control over medical services(that is coming later),
not more control over the insurance industry,
not more control over utility rates(that too, is coming later),
but more control over the kind of car you drive.
With his words today his has adopted the California CAFE standards.
He has adopted the plans of a bankrupt state.
He has adopted the plans of the radical environmentalist.
He is seeking to control our very life's.
This fool, this idiot, this would be tyrant, this messianic madman
is taking the country over a cliff.
And these are only his first steps.

Count them: Only 12 days after lawmakers from both sides of the aisle called for “civility” and a “new tone” in response to the shooting in Tucson, Arizona that severely injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, and killed six others, Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen has resorted back to using Nazi comparisons to describe his political opponents.

During a speech on the House floor late Tuesday night, Cohen said that Republicans were like Nazis for continuing to call the health care law passed in 2010 as a “government takeover of health care.”

“They say it’s a government takeover of health care, a big lie just like Goebbels. You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, and eventually, people believe it. Like blood libel. That’s the same kind of thing, blood libel. That’s the same kind of thing,” Cohen said.

Joseph Goebbels was Adolph Hitler’s director of propaganda during World War II.

“The Germans said enough about the Jews and people believed it – -believed it and you have the Holocaust. We heard on this floor, government takeover of health care. The EPA Is Just Another Way Of Controlling You!

Obama is attempting to bypass congress and the will of the American people by executive order in giving the EPA new powers that will give them massive control over over all phases of our lives. The cap and trade policies will not be passed by congress, so the intention of the Obama administration is to pass them through the EPA by decree. These proposed standards on green house gases will in fact destroy the economy of the United States. Energy prices will literally go through the roof and businesses large and small will be forced to raise the price of their products or their services to the public. The individual who must pay to heat and cool his home will be forced to pay much more. Consumers will pay more at home, much more. Consumers will pay more everywhere--the grocery store, the movies, the cafe, the fast food places,the gas station, at every turn of our lives the new Obama policies will rob us, will rob us of our lively hood and our children's future. This is not a plan for redistribution, but a road to destruction, a road to total control or perhaps a road to revolution. Yes, Obama's revolution could plunge this country into a new type of civil war, a war between the vast urban areas and the sprawling rural and suburban areas of the country. No north vs south this time. Obama is on a path to a violent revolution not the peaceful revolution he and his fellow-travelers have planned for. This is a dark picture, but sadly one that could materialize.

See No Evil

I recently came across this great article over at American Thinker felt it was worth passing along.

One of the first books that made me thirst for God was, ironically, about His polar opposite. The book is Andrew Delbanco's The Death of Satan: How Americans Have Lost the Sense of Evil.

The author describes the disastrous results of Americans rejecting the concept of evil. When Satan was alive and well, citizens practiced the Ten Commandments, atoned for their sins, and worried about eternal damnation. But today, inhabitants eschew the devil as an anachronism of days gone by.

And what has been the result of the death of Satan? More bloodshed than ever before in the history of humankind. In the 20th century alone, hundreds of millions of people were murdered by genocidal regimes.

And yet, why would banishing Satan result in a less civilized society? Because without an understanding about how good and evil work, people are stripped of Divine intelligence.

The number-one rule in warfare is this: Know thy enemy, whether it's radical Islam or plain evil. Yet most Americans, with heads firmly buried in the sand, have no idea how to cope when darkness rears its ugly head.

Their default is to find scapegoats, projecting all badness outward. Liberals routinely scapegoat conservatives. Yet by smearing an entire group of people, liberals become part of the evil themselves. Scapegoating is the quintessential feature of evil, says M. Scott Peck, in his seminal book, People of the Lie.

The most recent example of scapegoating is the smearing of conservatives, particularly Rush and Palin, for Jared Loughner's carnage in Tucson. Of course, part of this blame game is leftist politics as usual. As Rahm Emanuel declared, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." Or as Saul Alinsky put it: find a target, isolate it, and ridicule and smear it. (Interestingly, Alinsky dedicated his Rules for Radicals to the old Devil itself, Lucifer.)

In Germany, it was the Jews, and in Cambodia, the scapegoats were intellectuals wearing glasses. When citizens are stripped of the knowledge of good versus evil, they revert to primitive, knee-jerk behavior.

So the left demonizes others, which is a fascinating term in and of itself. Instead of taking a good and hard look at themselves and how the left has unleashed and enabled the brutality, progressives tar conservatives as the demons.

The progressives do this by devilish actions: first, turning conservatives into subhumans, as the other. Then the leftist media and politicos finger conservatives as the culprits when horror strikes, as in Tucson. In this way, they incite hate, if not actual violence, via collective guilt -- that is, guilt by association.

Collective guilt is not just a noxious premise, but also an evil one. It presumes guilt without a shred of evidence.

In this case, conservatives are incriminated for Loughner's bloodshed (even though Loughner is apparently a Karl Marx-admiring atheist). The delusion of collective guilt shields people from taking a long, hard look in the mirror, thereby witnessing their own bad behavior.

Jared Loughner didn't shoot people because he was a conservative or a liberal. His madness had nothing to do with whether he listened to Rush or voted for Obama. He committed these crimes because something is wrong with his brain -- mental illness, brain damage, and/or substance abuse.

Somewhere down the line, Loughner may have made decisions that poisoned his soul, perhaps through devil worship. And this same process can happen -- is happening -- to people who allow evil to infiltrate their lives.

Just last week, we learned of a gang rape of a girl, which others watched, filmed, and uploaded onto the internet. Not long ago, a home-grown terrorist, Major Hasan, slaughtered our soldiers, including a pregnant woman. If these horrors aren't evidence of evil, then what's the explanation? George W. Bush? The Tea Parties?

But the progressives live in a fantasy world, with Good Guys (liberals) and Bad Guys (conservatives). They reject the ancient teachings, which teach how to live in an evil-saturated world.

The left denies that evil forces exist because they deny God. Evil cannot exist without its polar opposite, the Creator. And if there is a God, He is in charge, not human beings; and God will punish as well as bless. The left may, in fact, demand collective responsibility because they know, deep inside, that their character alone may not get them through the Pearly Gates.

And so leftists do what they always do: blame conservatives. They disown any responsibility for the dark times that are upon us. They exploit the Tucson tragedy, thereby creating more damage. And through it all, leftists cling to the notion that they are the Good Guys.

How can progressives possibly see the truth, that evil exists and so does God? They've rejected the only Force who will protect them in the pitch-black of night. Having slammed the door on Him, they must close their eyes to reality as well. See No Evil, Hear No Evil...

Barack's Birth

Yesterday while the Constitution was being read in the House, someone yelled out from the gallery that Obama was the exception to the constitutional requirement that a president must be a natural born citizen. This reminded me of the below earlier post of mine and so I'm passing it along again for those who missed it earlier. Seems the issue is not quite dead. Obama could settle this by releasing all documents, but until that time doubt will remain with many.

Unidentified sources inside the White House are quietly revealing, what has just been a rumor up until this time, that Obama may have indeed been born in Kenya. It is believed that these revelations are coming now, as a result of the ongoing effort by some groups to get the original copy of his birth certificate made public. At this moment the complete details are sketchy, but some details are emerging. It now appears that Ann Dunham (Mrs Barack Hussein Obama, Sr) had returned to Kenya with her husband of only 6 month in mid-July of 1961 to meet members of his Kenyan family. It is thought that while on this visit Ann Dunham learned of Obama seniors earlier marriage to a woman named Kezia Kezia, Barack seniors true wife they decide to give the young obviously pregnant girl asylum in the embassy. According to recently released embassy records the embassy was over-flowing with American nationals at that particular time due to a sharp spike in black nationalist activities directed at whites in the country. Because of over-crowding in the embassy proper, Ann was given shelter in a small shed in the rear of the embassy, a shed formerly reserved for livestock. The livestock had been removed several months before. It was in this former stable, that Ann unexpectedly gives birth to Barack Hussein Obama II, the current President of the United States. The anonymous sources at the White House are quick to point out two things: first, President Obama was born on American soil (U.S. Embassy grounds are considered under international agreements to be part of the United States); second, the ONE was born in a stable (the source was quick to emphasize this fact) for what reason we are not sure! Finally the issue is settled, Obama was born on American soil with his humble beginnings in a stable---the message here well I'll leave that to you!

NATIONAL TEA PARTY, We The People

SOON, AND FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES WILL BE READ ALOUD ON THE FLOOR OF THE U.S. HOUSE.  SOME WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A TRIVIAL EVENT, BUT THOSE ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE LITTLE USE FOR THAT DOCUMENT AS WRITTEN AND BELIEVE IT TO BE AN ERASABLE BLUE PRINT THAT CAN BE IGNORED AND CHANGED BY A SIMPLE ACT OF CONGRESS OR BY JUDICIAL REVIEW BASED ONLY ON PAST PRECEDENT.  THESE SO-CALLED PROGRESSIVES WOULD NOT TAKE US INTO SOME UTOPIAN FUTURE BUT WOULD, IN FACT, RETURN US TO THE DISTANT PAST.  THEY WOULD RETURN TO THE DAYS BEFORE THE FOUNDERS WROTE THIS GREAT DOCUMENT, TO THE DAYS WHEN "WE THE PEOPLE" WERE CONTROLLED BY A TYRANNY WHO TURNED A DEAF EAR TO THE VOICES OF THE PEOPLE.  "WE THE PEOPLE" HAVE BEEN SILENT FAR TOO LONG AND THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE BLOWING ACROSS THIS GREAT LAND!
